The ‘Pillar’ is a jointed arm which is fixed to the superior part of the b-post.
The rotation is manual, whilst the up/down movement is electrically activated by a push-button handset or a rocker switch on the dashboard/B-post.
It allows you to load wheelchairs in cars with three or five doors.

In  the first  case you  have  to slide  the seat  forward, to create the necessary  space for the passage of the folded wheelchair between  the  seat  and the b-post.
The pillar comes out from the front of   the car, hooks the   wheelchair and places it vertically, between the front and the rear seats.

In cars with five doors, the pillar goes out from the rear of the car; in this case you also have to fit the sliding door.
The lifing movement works only, because of a safety system, when the relevant door is open.

It is CE marked.
